MENTORSHIP STYLIsTS (12 MONTH MENTORSHIP PROGRAM)

This paid position is ideal for a new stylist looking to learn and grow through experience-based training by supporting our team in the day-to-day routine within our salon. Duties will include but will not be limited to being an additional set of hands for the stylists on our team, shadowing, social media & guest experience support. A strong work ethic & the ability to be self-productive is a must as downtime within the salon will be used for daily tasks and self-driven education & hands-on practice. Multiple technical, one-on-one, and personal growth opportunities will be offered during your time at Eclipx.

The mentees in our program can expect to participate in over 600hrs of mentoring with a mentor, 23+ personalized/group trainings both hands on & virtual, coaching session, regularly scheduled days behind the chair + much more!

Our ideal candidate will seek continuous growth through our custom growth plan and and be willing to get involved in the community and give back. Any new team member should have a strong passion for the industry without a competitive attitude and always be open and willing to learn from all our team members no matter their experience. It is expected that along with our off-site and in-salon training, any stylist who joins our team should be willing to invest in their tools, education, and self-marketing.

Please know that a job within our salon may be available at the completion your mentorship but can not be guaranteed. Our hope would be that upon completing the program each mentee will gains the skill & experience to excel in the industry regardless of where they work! Post-mentorship job placement assistance available. All mentee’s must be post-grad students & or students that have no less than 3 months left of school to complete. New to school? FULL-TIME/PART-TIME COMMISSION-BASED STYLIST POSITIO

We are always looking for stylists who are interested in joining our team!

I could sit here and tell you that our ideal candidate has x,y & z qualities but let's be honest - we are an eclectic bunch of stylists with a mix of personalities & styles! Our vibe and energy is made up of common goals, passion for the industry, creativity, altruism & good times!

THE IMPORTANT STUFF:

▪️On average Eclipx has over 25+ new client inquiries a month & with the right skill level and experience behind the chair we have been known to fill a stylist book with an established clientele within the first 6-9 months of employment. A base clientele is always a perk but is not a necessity.

▪️I have been a a stylist for almost 20 years & have set out to step outside the social norm and change the experience stylists are having within salons. If you feel you are not being supported or growing fast enough within your salon - come find me! Id love to share my success stories when it comes to growing stylists behind the chair!

▪️We don’t believe in products sale expectations but we do encourage consistency as it’s a vital part of client retention & experience. Product sale are rewarded in our own special and unique way that can be redeemed when some self care is needed.

▪️We don’t believe in product charges. We take on the costs (as we should because we own the business) & your commission is your commission.

▪️If you are in a growth phase within our salon our goals are customized to your wants needs and goals within the industry. Our level systems are based on multiple factors but weigh heavily on your demand behind the chair.

Eclipx is owned by a hair stylist who understands the roller-coaster of emotions involved with being in our industry.
